The Nutcracker Tea Party

Motion Studio provides an opportunity for dancers that show drive and passion to study in a pre-professional setting as a member of the Motion Studio Dance Company.  Participation is by invitation only. Dance students that have been at Motion Studio for more than one year must have exhibited exceptional dance abilities, good classroom conduct and attendance, reliability, accountability, and a love of performance. The Motion Studio Company  is committed to our mission and standards regarding teamwork, commitment, accountability and positive attitudes. We are dedicated to promoting the art of dance in our community.

Join us in bringing the magic to life! Motion Studio Dance Company (MSDC) is hosting its annual Nutcracker Tea Party on Sunday, November 17th at The Grand in New Albany. This signature fundraising event consists of Nutcracker story time for children of all ages, select performances from the ballet, a commemorative photo booth, door prizes, a silent auction, and more! All proceeds benefit MSDC, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting young dancers in reaching their full potential as performers, while promoting the art of dance within the community.

SENIOR COMPANY

Senior Company dancers must be at least 12 years old and at least a Level 7 Ballet Student. Senior Company performs at our Nutcracker Tea Party, Spotlight Performances, and local community events.

JUNIOR COMPANY

Junior Company dancers must be at least 10 years old and at least a Level 5 Ballet Student. Junior Company performs at our Nutcracker Tea Party, Spotlight Performances, and local community events.

MINI COMPANY

Mini Company dancers must be at least 8 years old and at least a Level 4 Ballet Student. Mini Company performs at our Nutcracker Tea Party and local community events.
